Hi,
I was determining whether to sell this and was debating value with myself. Interested in anyone's opinion on grade. It is in a flip.

AU-50. From the lack of luster, even in the hidden recesses, it is likely this coin has been dipped, but it's almost impossible to know for sure without the coin in hand.
Rest in Peace

Wow. That is one gorgeous coin! I really shouldn't be venturing an opinion, but I can say that I've seen coins that weren't as nice called AU50. I wouldn't be surprised if yours graded out a little higher than that.

I would have to see this coin in hand.

I have a feeling it looks really good.

Chance of being better than AU

I also think AU-50. There's wear on the wings, and it looks flat, probably dipped.

Thank you everybody for your help.

I took a few more pictures and uploaded them below to help determine (no flash, light from ceiling bulb, no natural light).

I am no better a photographer than I am a coin grader.

I normally tend to stick with either commemorative OGP, modern danscos busted out of proof and mint set, or circulated grade silver series. I do not deal with loose higher grade coins too often. In general, serious grading is not in the norm for my collection. I do have a higher (maybe) grade Washington quarter collection and posted the keys in another post.

Nice luster, I'd give it AU-53.

I am 50/50 if this coin has been dipped too much or if it is from light circulation....I'd wait for a better example.

Thanks everyone for your input, it is much appreciated.

I find it beautiful to look at, but after reading this and looking at the coin in hand, I too believe it may have been dipped at some point.

I still like it a lot.

But since it is not in my collecting areas of interest, I will likely get rid of it at some point.
