The result of insomnia at 6 am on a Sunday is this 1840 Liberty Seated dime. Looks plenty original and I think it makes a solid Good, CCF agree?

A pretty ugly black tone, but it looks like a G coin to me

VG8 here with the obverse better than that. This is a No Drapery and one I would rinse in acetone at the very least. You might think I'm crazy (and I might be) but I'd try a 50% very quick diluted dip.

Looks like a pretty typical VG08. Tone looks deep but natural.

Better that they look like this in this condition than blast white ;) I'll probably do a 50/50 5 second and see if it lightens a tad, if acetone doesn't help. I do NOT want to ruin the originality here, this coin would look worse if it was all shiny.

Nice coin. I too would slowly try to lighten it a little.

The Obverse of this coin is very close to being fine.
With a very nice rim, good stars and dress detail remaining.

Reverse not as good. Rim not as good.

With obverse being graded more so than the reverse.

VG 8 maybe VG 10

Depends on if I was buying or selling ...
