Possibilities:
1) The page view is wrong. 2) This listing is being discussed on a coin board somewhere.
I do have a question for you. In the listing you state "Note: I am checking the dates on these." What does that mean?

When I saw the page views I added that. Thanks for the possibilities.

I have on occasion had the same thing. Most listings with less than 20 views and one with hundreds. sometimes ebay selects your item and places it in a "here are other items we recommend" or "similar to one you searched" someone may have been looking for a 1938D and at the bottom of those listings, yours may have popped up as one of the other options. I did on one occasion find that one of my listings for a Walking Liberty half dollar complete volume 2 set was featured when I searched 1938-D 1946 DDR reverse, 1937,1947d, complete set, ect since all those were in the title of the listing. I logged out and searched those individually and my listing would show up at the bottom of the listing I was viewing as "here are other items similar to your search we recommend". maybe that is what happened to your listing? I am a walker nut and I do not see anything rare on the 3 coins that would justify so many views. good luck with the auction!

I appreciate the input. I agree for sure someone singled it out for many to view. I unwittingly have compounded the situation by posting it here. The listing is not that old, but the views are climbing like crazy. It looks really funny on my listings page next to the other listing's views. I will post the total views here when it ends. Thanks all.

Good to know ... I think I need to sell a few items on ebay ... just to see how it works.

So, if one turned out to be a rare date or variety, then what?

GR58, it's addictive and very time consuming, and lucrative. Nss52, I reserve the option of ending the listing or raising the price.

As I read my post, it sounds a little short. Actually, I have a lot of coins that my wife wouldn't know what to do with. I guess you could say I'm downsizing some. I keep some and sell some.
