Although you can read the date, I've just never seen a semi-key this badly damaged that someone has put up for sale. I'm gonna watch it - mostly out of curiosity - to see if a buyer comes forward to claim it. For auction, starting at 99 cents. What do you think: sale or no sale?   Edited by Biedercoins

there is way to much wrong with this coin to put it in any collection even as filler imo. the fact that its a key even more so. I looked like it was in the ground for many years and someone attempted to clean it up

I love Lincoln cents and I'm always looking for key dates at a good price but this one is overpriced at anything above face value.

Im sure there are many collectors, most likely young or not very wealthy who cannot afford something like this coin in better condition. I myself would pass, but I know a few people that would try to buy. Not my cup of tea though
