My son bought a roll of uncirculated 2016 quarters for $10. He wants to know the value.
I collect Lincolns & have no idea, so I told him I'd ask the community.

Are they worth face value or more?

Thanks!

Unless you find a rare error or variety, I think they would just be worth face. Recently struck BU coins are not exactly uncommon.

I agree. Look through the roll for any high grade or errors/varieties and those will have a premium.

Face value...I'd just have him crack it open and buy some comic books or sports cards.

I doubt it, but it couldn't hurt to hold onto them.
After you mentioned the WA State Quarters, I looked at your profile and saw that you're from Port Orchard. It's good to see another Washingtonian here!

Recent uncirculated Pres dollars and Kennedy halves might draw a premium because you can only get them from the mint, but you pay a premium to get them.

The uncirculated Washington dollars may one day be worth a little over face (are right now if you find the right buyer).
