Very attractive & original coin -- but a bit small for a Morgan ;)

That coin would possibly benefit from a quick dip to get the grime off.

Don't really want to crack it out of the slab to dip it

When you look at the number on your PCGS graded Morgan how can you tell when it was graded and when it was sold last? I looked my 1903-0 Morgan up at PCGS and they had no auction results, but they must have a record of when they graded the coin. It is one of their coins.

No, I would not crack it out to dip it either. I cracked a bunch of common Morgans out to put in my Dansco album, but now with the more scarce and expensive ones I don't crack them out. I am buying a 1880CC which is slabbed and I won't be cracking it out either. I have dipped some of my common Morgans and it does a world of good appearance wise, but the coin is still what it is grade wise. Eye appeal is something.

I know huh. Was it both Barbers or just the father that disliked Morgan?

Barber > Morgan.

Someone had to.

Do not crack it or dip it. I think she is nice as is.

Is it normal that the reverse is "tilted" from the obverse? I don't have many Barber dimes to look through but it seems if the obverse is straight the reverse is offset about 15 degrees to the left
