This coin comes from a roll given to me by another member of the forum (THANKS). I have enjoyed working through it slowly. I found this one and I am fairly certain of its attribution. I am showing the primary marker which is listed on coppercoins. http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...ie_state=mds

Your images have improved so much in color. The next step? To remove glare. This is an easy fix and you will love the end result. If you could post your setup here/or email me with an image, I bet this would be an easy fix. But love your progress so far. Usually the image taker doesn't notice this as it is gradual, but you have improved.

One of my problems is that I have not worked with BU coins before and I am having quite some difficulty taking photos with out glare. I have tried single light sources, covering the light with tissue or paper, and directing it at many different angles towards and away from the coin.

Here is the set up (for close up photos):

Where is your light source? From the scope? Single light or multiple? If it is an outside source, then fold a piece of computer paper in half at the center and place that closer to the coin. that will remove the glare.
