Found this while CRHing last night. I noticed some extra thickness in "TY" in LIBERTY and the 1 on the date. I'm not sure if I picked it up that well in the photos last night. Later tonight I'll try to see if theres a match on Wexler's site.

That is how they all looked that year.

What I'm failing to capture in my pics (i really need to work on this) is what appears to be a spread to the east as per WDDO-003

Note the shape of the cross bar on the 'T' and the top of the 'Y'. On Wexler's example you can see the 't' is thinner on the crossbar. Is yours like that?

Thanks for the extra images. I've not seen that one before.

Hopefully these 2 might show what I'm seeing a bit more clearly. Coop, I am seeing a thiner crossbar on the "T".

This pic shows the vertical bar more clearly on the "T" & "Y"

Still not the clearest pics in the world I know. Time to invest in a usb scope and improve my lighting.

Thanks for looking at these & providing your input btw.

OK, that is better. I like the idea that you tried taking the image from a different direction with the light on the right side of the devices. (even if the image is that great, but you had the correct idea) It shows what I need to see, the smaller end on the cross bar. So it looks like a match. Thanks for posting this. I didn't realize there existed one that strong that year. When you get a better image, I would like to have it for my educational files. Keep trying a few more image a few more times. You are making progress. It just takes the practice time to get the correct image. When you get it, then you will have it for future images.
