Stumbled on a strange one on zeno.ru:

Note that the entry under shin-kanei lists 1 and 2 mon denominations. I don't recall seeing an example of a 2 mon coin, anywhere. I don't think it's in Hartill, either. The 4 mon however is pretty easy to find.

Is this a fluke on Zeno's part?

Did a bit more digging:

Hartill doesn't list any.

NGC doesn't have any in their database.

A few apparently misinformed ebay dealers misinterpreted the 21 wave/11 wave 4 mon coins to be different denominations, rather than just design variants of the same denomination.

I think that is the answer here.
