JFK halves are a specialty of mine.
As Coop said, this could be the 72-D No FG variety. I have searched thousands (literally) of halves looking for these and other varieties.
In your pic, I can see a shadow of the FG. This happens on an awful lot of them if you tilt them at just the right angle. However, I have also seen this "ghosted" FG on slabbed coins graded by the top coin grading companies and being offered for sale on ebay.
I am guessing these ghosts may be a case where the camera can see something our eyes do not when it takes the pic, or the TPGs are not concerned there is absolutely no trace of an FG.
