I found this today, is the possible last blob nickel of 1952? Need Nelp decieding! All feed back welcome!

It looks like it was damaged after the strike. JMO

It looks like a bit of molten solder has been dropped on it. It's not a mint error.
If by "blob" you are referring to a " Cud", it's not a Cud either. A " Cud" is extra metal connecting to the rim on a coin caused by a broken die.

I feel than answer of soldier on the coin is the correct answer. If you have never seen this before, then it would be something you would need to decide on. People alter coins all the time trying to create errors. We are here to figure out what happened/caused/altered coins new ones find. So I always find it is better to explain what I'm seeing. It helps start the detective in all of us. Welcome to the forum.

It maybe been used as a piece of jewelry like on a tie tack or something else. Probably a birth year coin.

this one has definitely been damaged. The OP was thinking it was possibly is a mint error. I think the "last blob" refers to this coin being the last one struck before the die was retired.
