Thank you everyone. Before I replied I wanted
To double check it wasn't the same 1972 I found
earlier this year but it is not, but to answer your question
Slamnbass I believe I found it while coin roll hunting
a few weeks back. I pick up a few rolls here and there
and usually check out each of them when I get the opportunity.
So most likely that was it, but to find two of them in the same
year surprises me. This one though is a little dirty :( compared
to the other.
Coop, I usually use a loop when looking at them and the 1972 the
(2) popped out at me first. Then when I looked at the In God We
Trust it made me take a second look lol. I'm so addictive to this lol It
would be nice to find more :)

I was wondering if the thread I had recently about the 9 in the date was what you picked up on first? http://goccf.com/t/271625#2297479I was wondering if this was what you saw first on your coin. After looking at the date first, then the motto, I knew if was a DDO. Then I spotted what number and got my first clue. The 'S' on TRUST. Then I looked back at the date. Then I knew what die number it was. 1972P-1DO-008. That was all I needed to see to know what die number this was. |

Wow thank you Coop! That was interesting. I didn't know that about the 9's. In the future Ithe 9's will be the first thing I'll be looking at. I'm always learning, thank you Coop!
