hello everyone & happy halloween......well found this 1986 LMC in a roll , looks like a partial plated cent ....took several pics for details.....need some experts for this, I appreciate it very much ...

Not completely sure, but it appears that is the result of a common science experiment. My dad has a coin that looks very similar to that. It was electroplated with silver, and yours might be as well.

Also, I have a question. What kind of camera do you use to take close ups like that?

hi roy , & thanks ...so a science project coin? ......i use a zorb (carson) 35x microscope.

Looks like a partial plating. The color change was the convincer to me:
