Hi everybody and happy Thursday!

My Grandmother has had this penny for years and years. It looks to be double or even triple struck on both sides but I know very little about things like this. My speciality is cooking. :)

Please let me know what you think. I'm including a picture..one in color..one black and white...both sides of the penny. Thanks a million for any information you can offer!

It's an in-collar double strike. It doesn't look like the many fakes that carry this date (1964), but better photos are required to determine if the second strike is genuine.

to CCF..

Avoid any temptation in wanting to clean it..
Years back one of my new customers mentioned he had a 1921 Peace dollar that looked better than the 1922 B/U Dollar in my case and wanted to know it's value..

I requested that he bring it next time, and a week later I was somewhat disappointed when he handed me his 1921 Peace dollar..

This was one of the nicest '21 Peace dollars I've seen, with one exception..

I asked "What happened" and he replied "I polished it up last night to show you how nice it is"... This was one of those moments when you realize not all the people that say they have coins for you to look at is unaware that you don't clean the coins..

Looks like a really nice coin. One that I am sure many of us dream about finding. I know I do.
