hello .....found this in a roll, has a piece missing on obverse & a mark directly on reverse opposite ...not sure what to call this " defective/lamination/struck through " or if it's anything ....thanks so very much for your thoughts ....

I would say a large piece of metal debris, most likely very high and tall, was struck onto the coin, that would explain for the missing devices on the reverse

thanks dustin.....i don't see any devices in the hole on obverse and the T on reverse ends, don't see it smashed ? almost like something was on the dies ?

No what I am saying is there is weakness opposite from where the extra metal was struck on the coin

To me it looks like a wrap around piece of debris that affected both sides. The edge should show this connection also?
