I'm so excited to find this 1907 nickel in a roll of nickels of mostly 2000 and up dates. What do you think of it?

Once upon a time it was VG but it has been quite harshly cleaned and damaged. Still, finding any V nickel in circulation or CRH is something to be very happy about!!

An AG-3, but then, the grade doesn't matter all that much when you pulled it out of a roll.

Congratulations on your nice find.

due to the damage it would not receive a grade, however, it was a great find to get one in circulation regardless what it looks like.

Ouch. G-04, details, essentially a cull.

Come on , give Bella a break . When was the last time you found a V-Nickel floating around in the wild ?
Who cares about grade or details .

Thanks for the info. I fear I will never learn how to grade a coin. I feel very lucky to have found this coin.

Bella, I used to grade G coins XF, then I learned. As will you in time. No one is born knowing how to grade. It is learned.
