Took several pics of this coin but couldn't imitate what I saw with the naked eye or even a X5 loop, but did get shots of what I believe to be DD. Just need some input.

Not the big one, which one do you think it is? I think you are looking too hard, when you find one, you will know

It has seen some pretty good wear, but with the naked eye and under light it really pops like the #1 DDO. I feel if it wasn't as circulated as it is The doubling would be more pronounced for sure.... Then again I could just be too hopeful lol

to the forum!

I think I see what you are talking about. 1969 saw an abundance of Mechanical Doubling on the cents. Some of it can easily fool someone who doesn't know for sure what they are looking at.

This page is dedicated to the 1969-S Lincoln cents: http://www.lincolncentsonline.com/1...20Cents.html On it you can see many examples of this type of doubling.

Once you see the real thing, and compare it to the MD examples, it will be easy to tell the difference.

No DD,you won't even need to ask if you've found the one. Can be seen with the naked eye.
