Considering buying all 3 of these for $1900. I just want to get opinions on all 3 as this is a lot of money for me. I took pics with my cell phone so they're not the greatest as my guy wouldn't let me take them home to photograph properly. I need an answer by tomorrow as time is of the essence. I do need all 3 for my sets and if these will straight grade I will dump the money into them. I don't want cleaned coins!!!

Pictures are a bit bad, and I'm not the best at grading. But I will give it a shot.

1896:XF45 maybe details, could be cleaned, or just the photo
1895-S F-12, maybe 15
1895-O VF-35
Rest in Peace

I would not want to add a recommendation based on those photos. Too much money to get it wrong.

I think they have all three been cleaned at one time or another.

For 1900$ I think I would look for problem-free certified coins. That is a lot of money.

Yea after reviewing them more throughly and looking at prices online I'm not gonna buy them. The coins are getting graded by PCGS from my local precious metals people.

I ask you to consider ... from my perspective ... this is an unreasonable expectation to place upon the volunteer members of this forum.

Politely suggest that if you need an emergency opinion on Morgan grades before spending $1900 then you have two better options ..

Best option is to learn how to grade and authenticate the coins for yourself.

Second best option is to develop a trusted relationship with a local dealer who can do that for you.

With all due respect and understanding of your need ... I am not in any way interested in struggling through your out-of-focus images of coins to advise you on a $1900 purchase.

1896-S XF40
1895-S F12 dipped
1895-O AU50 - old dip, retoning

$1900? Pass. You could buy all of these coins certified, problem-free, in the above grades, for $1900, or less if you hunt for deals or wait on auctions.

Impossible to give a meaningful opinion from these pics. Apparent cleaning on the first two. Total pass at the indicated price.

EF-45 details, cleaned.
VF-25, old cleaning, but probably market acceptable
EF-45 +. Nicest coin of the bunch. Can't tell if it has been cleaned from the pictures.

EF-40 details, cleaned.
VF-25 details, cleaned
EF-45 details, cleaned

As the others have said, price seems too high for these as they are problem coins.
