I believe they all purport to be Roman silver coins.

Top left is denarius (?) of Trajan.

Top right I think is a tetradrachm of Antioch, emperor Nero.

Bottom left, Antioch tetradrachm of Trajan.

Bottom right, also Antioch. Not sure on the ruler... maybe Philip I or Claudius II? They used non-standard portraits for these issues.

Unfortunately, I believe they are all fake. The Nero in particular looks mushy, which is typical of cast copies. Ditto with the bottom Trajan. Bottom right just doesn't sit right with me.

The top left Trajan might be real, but honestly I have never seen a member come here with a pile of counterfeit coins and one genuine.

@jay, first welcome to CCF. Second, it would be easier to evaluate your coins if you took separate pics of each one. I'm not necessarily doubting Finn's assessment above, but having clearer pics could add to our certainty.

to the community.

Going to need some better pictures, but I think the top two look OK. The third coin is doubtful, and the fourth coin is most definitely a fake.

I agree with better pictures to form a more reliable opinion fake or not.
With these pictures there is definitely doubt in my mind, especially with the Philip and the Nero.

I would love to have a look at the edge of these pieces 'in hand', with a 10x plus loupe.

Calcary Coin Company has published a very good guide on the identification of fake ancient coins. Nearly 60 pages to read, but for anyone who may be seriously interested in educating themselves on this necessary skill, these pages are a 'must' to read and absorb.

I won't buy valuable ancient coins (over $100) via ebay, unless they are from a known professional and reliable source.

Agree, better pictures for certainty, but these just all scream out low grade tourist fakes.

No flow lines, fake patina, raised edges, soft details.
