here's a recent buy..a 1977 CIBC bag of rolls. seen below is the lead seal, a close up of a roll, a picture of the 48 rolls stacked on top of each other in a separate storage(2 broke inside the bag) , and the bag itself. Feel free to call me Will.

That will be a fun search, how did you come across that bag?

Congratulations on making the decision to keep them as is. You can search the two busted rolls to make sure the whole bag isn't full of some rare variety. But these will always be worth more as is, then busted up, with the low chance you have of finding significant errors worth more than the "as is" value.

its not like there is high demand for high grade 1977 pennies. I think the Bag is the most precious thing in that picture.

Is it possible for someone to get bags from a bank or is it only through a private transaction?

@paulsz lol thanks , not breaking them is tough whenever I want to break rolls I remind myself about an original 1939 roll of dollars my lcs had which the buyer opened...reminding myself of that tragedy makes me lose my roll breaking appetite pretty quick @Apitrix are you the numismatic version of the little devil on my shoulder encouraging me to do bad?

what would you guys say this whole thing is worth? the 48 rolls and the bag. and what would you say is a good price per roll? I paid $2 a roll and no extra for the bag.

I would be CRACKING those rolls in a second... but that's just me!
I think you should hold on to the bag! It's super cool.... but if you wanted to sell or trade for it let me know ... as I said... I think it's super cool!

Wow ... nice find
I like finding BU rolls .. I have not found that many.
I find it fun to stack BU coins ... just let them get older.
