From those pictures, I can't see the S or the VBD. Maybe close-up images and adjust the lighting

The S is to the south east of the first 9 in date, its lined up with the bottom of the 9's tail. The v.d.b. is at very edge of bottom in between the wheat tails.

You're just telling us where they should be. I don't see then either.

Sometimes it's hard to capture the details of a coin worn this bad. Try moving the light source and see if that helps. Maybe gets some shots from a different angle.

I think we are aware where they should be located, but it's impossible to see the initials in these photos. Look forward to updated images.

For example, it takes a lot of work for me to capture the date on a well worn Buffalo nickel. The right lighting and angles takes some patience to find. I do not doubt, at least not yet, that the mint mark and initials on this cent are visible to the Ant3277's eye.

Good advice...jury still out. Sharp close-ups of the date and VDB areas would really help.

Don't worry about it to much. As long as you can see those dates and initials, that is what is important.

I agree. In the end, you have to be happy with the coin.
