The collectors I know that collect fancy $100's are a picky bunch. They want repeaters, super repeaters, ladders, solids, low serial numbers and rare star notes, AND they prefer uncirculated notes.

This note may provide a meager profit on ebay, but a serious collector wouldn't look twice.

Must agree. It is a cool quad double, but not worth keeping as a C-note. Bet you're bummed.

Putting $100 on ice for not even a faint possible return is silly. Collectors of $100 bills are looking for much more than this, believe me.
