I've taken an interest in collecting Silver (Washington) Quarters, but I'm unsure of the best method to obtain them. Any tips?

What do you mean ... by collecting Washington quarters.

Are you putting a set together?

Are you just stacking silver quarters?

Proof quarters?

Slabbed..and certain grade?
Rest in Peace

We can give you much more specific answers if you give us a little more information about your goals.

In my experience coin shops are the best for common dates. Unfortunately I don't have one near me but when I was on vacation in Florida this time last year I got to pick through a dealer box @ $3 a coin. Most were 60s but I got all AU/BU condition so $3 each was much cheaper than ebay.

You can nearly complete a circulated set from a coin shops 'junk' bin.

Silver!

Yes, are you wanting to put together a date set, full set with all mint marks or just collect them for your silver value.
Do you already have some in your collection?
if so.....

Are you planning on hoarding them for silver or building a complete set?

In either case for me Luckily I have a coin shop near me that deals heavily in silver bullion. I can buy full rolls with full dates for a good price.

For my Uncirculated and better grades or dates I do ebay or coin shows.
