Hey there Errorismatists,

This is probably a day 1 basic question, but the Lincoln has a sharp obverse and an almost blank reverse. At first I thought it might be struck through a capped die, but I believe that only happens on the obverse if I'm not mistaken. Either way, if you could lend me some insight, it'd be much appreciated!

Thank you!

My first thought is a capped die also. Maybe a Greaser? Nice either way.

Wow, nice find. This is what I would imagine happening if two planchets slipped into the press at the same time. Is that even physically possible?

Looks like a really nice capped die to me, too.

That's what's driving me nuts though, if it was struck through a capped job wouldn't the weak side be on the obverse? Not the reverse?

What is the weight?

Could we see an image of the edge of the coin?
