Mine would be the Wheat penny. I like how it looks on the back.

Anyone's welcome to post, too. :)

to the forum!

I know people are going to point it out, so I may as well be the first. The US did not mint any pennys, they minted cents.
The British minted pennys. I know most people in the US call cents pennys or pennies, but that is just an informal name for the cents.

cwb , forget it ,it's like peeing against the wind . Most people just don't understand .
Even though I love my wheat cents I picked IHC . I really like the way a GEM BU looks like with full diamonds , Liberty ,and headdress .
Rest in Peace

I'm thinking IHC will be the run away favorite.

I don't know any collectors that dislike the IHC.

IHC is a great design and may indeed win. However I think Wheaties will be a close second (or win) because a lot of collectors grew up picking them out of change. A big emotional connection there.

I went with the Flying Eagle. There are too many people/portraits and not enough symbolism on circulating coins.

Braided Hair large cent, Petite Head subtype.

*beat*

Out of the actual poll options, Flying Eagle (though the IHC is pretty close).

I was going to say Liberty Cap Cent but you did not offer that as a choice.

I chose Lincoln Memorial, but it is really a tie with Wheat and I knew the probably Memorial needed some love in this poll.

Even tho I have more wheat cents and memorials in my collections.

I guess it depends on which page you read.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penny

I agree that everyone refers to them as pennies, so they may as well be called pennies.

BTW, I voted for the wheat reverse
