Hi all, This token was collected by my wife's father about 50 years ago and just came into her possession. I have been unable to locate a similar token in gold, although I have found a couple in silver by searching for the phrase "Pietate et Concordia" (see https://www.numisbids.com/n.php?p=l...=289&lot=343 for example). Can anyone confirm that it was also issued in gold?

It is about 2 cm in diameter and has a mass of 2.6g.

Thanks in advance for any information that you can provide.

Thanks, that's great! It is quite similar though the text on the reverse is different...maybe this one is a 1 year anniversary token?

Found one! The one you found, Zurie, encouraged me to spend some more time looking with success this time, so thanks again. See http://www.coinarchives.com/w/lotvi...79369dbcd453 for a 1790 token that sold less than 2 weeks ago for about $2100.
