I'm putting the bar high for you guys this coming Christmas.
My wife told me that she placed a order from the U.S.Mint and when the box gets here its for Christmas do not open it.
Every day she asks me what the price of gold is. When I tell her she says good , its going up.LOL.
So I hit her up every now and then and tell her I would really like the new gold Dime. She just smiles and says you never no.
She has never bought me anything that I collect. One day she says I can see buying coins, but that other junk. I just do not no.

its here unopened on the dresser. She has ask me why I do not get some gold coins in the past. And would I lie some. I tell her yes but just can't afford it. I buy silver. after supper last night she ask me again how gold was doing.
I told her that the true market would not show until Monday morning
She said maybe it will go up .

her email account is in my laptop. and I set the password for her.

I am not sure of the direct connection between the price of gold, and anything bought from the U.S. Mint....
Also, if she keeps talking about the price of gold, and she didn't get you gold, then what is she thinking?

she thinks that if gold goes up the value of the coin will go up. shes smart but not that smart about coins and the like.
she did tell me that before buying this coin she looked at other sites and there price was higher.

It is so easy for an avid collector to be over optimistic in a situation like this. What a wife needs to know is that she is loved, and needs to be told this regularly by your words and actions. Then it will not matter at all what you get for a Christmas present!  You never know, it may even be a kiss! Gold rings are more important than gold dimes to a loving wife. So don't speculate. Then, you won't need a mop and bucket to clean the mess up! |
