There are some coins that seem really undervalued. This New Orleans eagle has an original mintage of only 10,820 coins yet in low grades is priced barely higher than the most common Philly eagles with mintages in the millions. Go figure!

This coin is in an older PCGS slab. Any guesses on grade?

O mints are often over looked mainly due there weak strike.
I would grade it EF-40 but PCGS would say VF-35
nice coin and low mintage too!

Pennypusher, I wish it were AU! Retail value in AU-50 jumps up a fair amount. Sadly, it only rated a (conservative) grade of VF-30 from PCGS. As I said, I think this date is undervalued. It cost maybe $100 more than a common date in the same grade when I bought it about 2 years ago. With the big increase in the price of gold the bullion value now exceeds my purchase price!
