I have had a hard time finding Quality 2 Cents recently but today I upgraded my 1864 Large motto.

Here is the one that Came out of the Dansco. New one needs to be cracked out to go in.

This was originally graded by NGC.
Care to Guess the Grade or make an informed decision?
kudos to those who can correctly attribute it.

This was one of my favorite coins. It has so much going on.
The Dies are almost falling apart. There is Cud on both sides.
The Mark on the I is Cud.

I'm a terrible grader, but I will guess EF/AU.

This is a high-grade coin with almost no visible wear. 'WE' is sharp, most leaves have strong center veins, and the reverse wreath is fully detailed. There is a ding on 'I' of UNITED and it looks like there are some minor planchet laminations or defects on the obverse.

The lack of luster is what holds back the technical grade. I'd peg it at AU-50.

Jaobler the Ding on the I of united is not a Ding its raised above the I. I think there was a die chip missing from the die in that area

I really like those coin surfaces. Very nice coin. I really don't know the grade by the picture, I'll say 58-62.

I have no skill at grading MS coins, but based on the "no one has come close" hint, I'll say 'MS-65 BN.'

I have one very similar and I graded it out at 45+, so this is my guess.

There's a lot of good detail to this coin, especially for a die with the amount of wear this one has making it appear to be an MS. Then again, I'm seeing what appears to be crud of some sort in the denticles & around the letters on the reverse, which makes me think it's in the high AU range. I'll admit it, I'm confused.

Be careful Jim1953 this coin is not what it seems at first glance.
