Pretty common date coin, but what do you all think about this 1945 Walker? I would put it at a low MS grade as it still maintains original, cartwheel luster and seems to have MS details. There is a rather large bag mark on the eagles wing on the reverse. Edited by Eric19 11/29/2016 12:21 am

Looks like it came from an old album (toning only on one side). The reverse looks very good. All the problems are on the obverse. -- Fingerprints at 11 and 4 -- Couple of small nicks -- Strike a bit weak
I suspect it's a slider (AU-58 or -55)

That so-called large bag mark on eagles wing is so small it shouldn't even have been mentioned . agree the difference in toning from obverse to reverse is coin was in an album or folder . the reverse doesn't show any signs of wear ,however the obverse does display a tad of wear on high points . AU-58 .

There is no wear on this coin. Typical soft strike for this date. You could search forever for a 45 with a strong strike and never find one. Solid MS 63 with no hint of cleaning or dipping.

Thank you all for the grades! It seems that this coin isn't so easy to come to a conclusion on, especially since grades are ranging from around AU-58-to MS-64. Oh well, I am very happy with the coin and it will stay with me for awhile so no need for a grade to market it with. Thanks again!

I'd be in the 64 camp, I do not see signs of circulation rub under the toning, which appears largely undisturbed.
