Hello! I wanted some opinions on my recent purchase.

How did I do for $25.50? Also, can you please share your grading opinions?

This is a tough one. The pictures do not really show the coin very well.

This coin has a conditional rarity situation. When it hits VF the price starts
to jump.
Greysheet
Fine - $2.74
Very Fine - $27.00
X-Fine - $60.00

From what I can tell, from pictures.
The reverse is better than the obverse.
There is a chance the coin would grade VF ... but I would have to
see it in hand.
Rest in Peace

From a distance it looks to be VF or even better.

But those photos are so small I couldn't blow the picture up enough to be sure.

Let us see your pictures of the coin once you have it.
Rest in Peace

Yes , It needs to be a straight VF to be an ok deal. Like previously said the reverse is in better condition than the obverse .

When I get the coin I will post pictures but for now are we at a NET VF? I jumped at this coin because I saw the nearly full horn. Is it possible the obverse is just weakly struck not circulation wear?

I think it is wear, but I think you got a pretty good deal. I also think it is in VF condition. Do you have key dates for this coin set?

VF-30/35 ... An attractive coin at a decent price, it is.

Considering the jump in price between fine and VF, I am not sure about this coin. It is probably VF. The reverse certainly looks like it. But the obverse is very weak in the '19' in the date and the top of 'LIBERTY' for a VF coin. I know that San Francisco issues in the 1920's are known for weak strikes, but I think I would have passed on this coin and looked for something a little nicer. Just my '5 cents' worth.
