I have a fairly large amount of cleaned, corroded, and damaged Wheaties. I'm going to my LCS tomorrow, and I want some extra cash. Should I turn them in or hang on to them? I'm leaning to turning them in, since they're just collecting dust, but I want some other opinions.
Thanks!

I would if you can get more than face for them, but I do not think an LCS will pay a premium for anything cleaned or corroded.

You can dump them into circulation (Bank, Coinstar, etc). Perhaps they will spark an interest when found.
Rest in Peace

If you don't want them there may be very few other collectors that would want them.

If you have a local auction house that sells coins, count 500 into a jar and let them sell them that way. In person auctions sometimes results in higher prices for "junk" wheaties.

I agree with jbuck--dump these culls and let someone else hoard them.

Thanks everyone for the replies! I've decided that I'm going to dump them and buy some coins I actually want.

I usually just throw them in with coins to be taken to my bank.
