I just watched the above video, and it seems to me some of their "better" coins look dipped. Like, really dipped. I agree that MOST of the "less good coins are not beauties but in some cases I'd actually prefer them to the ones they said are better.
Just as an example, they showed a bust coin that had even, dark toning that I thought nicely brought out the contrasts in the elevated parts, vs. an evenly battleship gray one that had no luster. I like the look of the toned coin much better.
I realize beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but what do you think? (You'll need a free membership to view the short video, but IMO if you aren't already a member, it's worth it. The videos thus far are very informative.)
