Hello

Been selling on ebay for a few years now. Never had a problem. Just sold a expensive piece of currency for $950 best offer. Didn't get a offer, buyer elected to pay $950 straight out.

Buyer has zero feedback. Female name. Looked at the address its a house three times the size of mine. User name is kinda odd though. For example it looked something like this. JH?!!fiopLL@

I plan on fully insuring it

What do you think? Should I be concerned? What defensive measures can I take?

that user name means they have signed in as a guest, and that would be why no feedback. not unusal at all. alot of people are chosing to by items this way instead of signing up.. but yes insured , with tracking and a signature..

Selling online is never 100% safe but you can do things to help minimize the risk.

Signature Delivery Confirmation and following ebay and PayPal's best practices for Seller's and you should be good to go.

Good luck!

I know that Paypal requires signature confirmation, not just delivery confirmation if the value is over 250.00.

I have never had a problem selling to anyone with no, or low, feedback. I have sold a lot also.

Anything $950 and I am sending it requiring a signature, regardless of how much or little feedback they have.

Insurance and signature would be a good idea. I'm also wary of no or low feedback buyers but I can't judge outright and all that's ever come from it is an unpaid item case that takes time but no loss.

As others have mentioned ship fully insured with signature confirmation on any sell that large and you have done your part.

Should be ok.
