I think what op is meaning is that everything else is listed in "xx cents" except for 'quarters' which for us OCD folks should've been listed as "25 cents".

That being said is there really any benefit to making fun of a fellow CCF member and/or what they posted?

If you ever knew how much the use of nickel, dime and quarter for Canadian coins used to irk Rick Simpson (former Trends editor and coin dealer)... he would make a nasty point of it on almost every post on CCRS back in the day...

Wade, I can only assume as it was used here, it was a tongue-in-cheek comment...

if the post was made questioning eBays "math" then yeah, I see it, but it's just not how it came across to me.
that's one of the dangers of trying to inject sarcasm/humor into print - it can easily be taken out of context.

Never had a problem listing Canadian 25 cents on ebay under the Quarters section. Everyone knows 25 cents is a .... quarter of a .....dollar. They still don't sell !!
Another who absolutely hated it when you used Nickel , dime, Quarter, Half was the late great RC Willey co author the Haxby Willey catalogue......drove him bonkers!!

I have to stand along side for those who call a coin by its proper name. eBays updated pick list just drives me crazy calling a 25 cent a quarter!
