I began collecting this last year, and am focusing primarily on older silver US coinage. I have amassed a decent collection in the last year, and with that has come a bit of knowledge. I appreciate the wonderful resource this forum is, and I look forward to contributing if I can. My first post will also come with a small request... can anyone help me identify what potential error is present on this 1917 Standing Liberty quarter, I am referring to the extra material under the eagle on the reverse, I have searched quite a few resources to no avail. Thanks again, and thanks in advance.
