What do you think of these protrusions on the obv and rev of this coin. Are they Retained Cuds or after mint tampering. Please also note the gouge on the edge of the coin at the right of 1923. Thank you for the input.

Looks like PMD. I think your dollar was in a piece of jewelry, but I could be wrong.

I kind of thought it was PMD. Since I'm still new at this I have a question? The glob on the front, if it had been a Cud would it have been attached all the way to the rim?

The edge of the rim is still present, so I'm thinking it is not a Cud. Looks like solder.
