165 (I'd have guessed my favorite number, but it's already taken), and it would be in better condition than the only Matron Head I have so far.

Lots of good guesses, with two tied for closeness to the actual count! We just need a few more guesses to reach 24 entries, at which point I'll announce the winner! I wish I knew something about where it was found...or even who originally collected it! I think my great-grandfather started the coin "collection", if that word can be used for coins (one worth over $1000!) tossed loose into a box.

Fun contest -- I stumbled upon it too late as you have all the guesses you said you'd allow. Who won?
