they are going to be very dissapointed in the money they will get and no reserve set..there is no way to guess at the value other than their trends statement of 110,000$

Three-day return, thanks a lot.
This sort of offer is a bald scam.
Madness.

How can a seller put this much on the line and not even list the coins properly? At the very least, I would note which key dates are included in the lot. I see a high grade 1875 10 cent piece which gives some credibility to this listing. The seller is going to lose his shirt on this.

My late Father told me to Never buy a "Pig in a Poke" and this listing qualifies for that title eminently. A bunch of images showing a few albums and other numismatic items doesn't add up as a $110,000 purchase to me.

Has anyone ever dealt with this seller before?

He also has individual coins listed so he already is removing coins from the lot.

From the list of items included: "About 12 banknotes: About? Did he estimate the amount after growing weary from counting?

Perhaps after counting 5 thousand dollars he'll be weary of counting and just believe he has the whole 110,000 he wants.
I dunno but I think the seller should be selling the coins one at a time for best results... and how's the buyer to even know what they're getting when they don't specifically list ANYTHING! Only way you see me forking over a fraction of the ask price is if I was dealing face to face!

Maybe his wife gave him an ultimatum... to "get rid of those darned coins or else!!"

Even if there is 110K worth of coins (trends) value, with no description, I would estimate the very highest he would get on ebay would be between 15K and 20K.

One of the most poorly done listings I've ever seen on ebay.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
