In the words "I'm god we trust" at the end of trust is that a mint error where it's overlapping the last "T" in trust.

The photo isn't clear enough for me to say for sure but it appears that the rim is rolled inward. Without seeing a clear picture of the whole coin ...I can only guess that it was either stuck in a machine or in a bezel as a charm.

It looks like whatever scratched the rim, also scratched all the way down the face to the date and messed up the 8.

We refer to that as PSD (Post Strike Damage) or sometimes PMD (Post Mint Damage).

As has been mentioned, it's tough to tell for certain with that photo, but it appears to be damaged.

As mentioned, something has hit the rim of your coin and caused it to over lap.
