I am really not good with identifying this. I do not think it is, but then again I might be wrong. Can anyone tell me if this is the 1988-D with the reverse design of 1989?

Looks like a normal 'FG' for that year. It is a RDV-005
1988-D-Wide-AM-FS-901?
A side by side really helps with these. So you might copy this image and save it for your educational files. If you can edit, then turn the image on the left black and then move your next search into there and you can can compare with with it. Having the image horizontal also helps a lot. I line thing up with the base line on these to make them horizontal.
