This is the first best guess I have as a struck thru. I think that's what it is called but I'm sure I need advice. Thanks for that advice!

Here is an overlay for this year:

At first I thought I saw something raised on that area on your coin, but after looking at the design, it was a small branch. (part of the design)
But the reverse does appear to be normal. So it is probably a struck through error.

I started a post then realized it was incorrect. So I marked it as editing. Then fixed it when I have the better images.
