Evening all,
I attempted to have a strange trachy I got from a collection of Balkan (Bulgarian, to be specific) coins appraised, but it was not listed in the (admittedly old) Hartill (I think) book. There is visible text, so I was hoping someone could help me identify it. Latin Empire? Venetian? Serbian? Trebizond?

The reverse is all but faded away, so I won't waste your time with a picture, but the faint remains of a winged, robed angel are just visible at certain angles.
Obverse:

In addition, the same lot had two strange coins which the shop owner tenatively identified as early medieval Indian. They're in very rough condition and don't photograph well, but I would be very grateful if someone could give me a ballpark estimate? (Sorry if I'm breaking any rules on number of coins to post for id per day)

I think some of the letters on the left of the obverse are X MIAI and then what appears to be a capital Pi?
Here are the two indians
One:
the reverse is faded away, but the obverse on this tiny coin is just about legible. Unfortunately it doesn't photograph well.

Here's the other one:
The only visible feature is an asterisk-like star on both sides.

Thank you all for your time and any help you can provide would be immensely appreciated!

@svhson, neat coin. For old Bulgaria, I use Youroukova's book (Hartill is for cast Chinese coins, unless he wrote another book). Posting both sides of the coin, even if one side is devoid of much detail is important. Often, including the weight and diameter is quite useful. As far as multiple coins in a day, that is generally fine. I can only think of a couple times this year when it got overwhelming. Best practice is to use separate threads for each coin though.

Thank you Spence!
I will post the photo of the reverse later tonight. I should clarify that the lot was found in Bulgaria but was mostly Byzantine (I.e. Angeloi and Komnenoi Trachies).
Thank you for your advice on posting as well-I shall adhere to it in the future.

And the two indian coins (on closer inspection, I think one may be a barbarous copy of a Byzantine coin though)
