to CCF!!

I am seeing the signs of possible Die Deterioration (VLDS) or maybe even the effect of an over polished die.

Still trying to learn how to tell the difference myself.
There are other more experienced members here who will help out as well.

Are you asking about the raised line that begins at the top of the forehead nearly touching hair, through and under the nose and ending at the top of the chin?

I agree. It looks like the die was over polished to remove a clash.

There are several things in that area that could have been hard to remove. These are often called a halo.

Often seen on larger denomination coins. But just die abrasion to remove a clash.
