I don't know much about these, except what I have seen on here.

If there not lathe lines, any idea what causes them ?

I found one like this earlier and tossed it, but the second one has my curiosity about what causes them.

Those are called concentric die scratches/gouges. Often used as markers on variety coins. But no premium for them.
