I noticed this quarter was smaller than the rest? Is it an error?

It all depends on what we see on your coin. There are several things it might be. Thus the need for images.

Sounds intriguing. Thanks, Doug.

See image posted while I got some popcorn. Is it the one on the right? Hard to make out details. Is it reeded normal all the way around? Thanks, Doug.

Yes it the one on the right I noticed it in a stack of quarters. It's reeded minted and looks like a normal quarter it's just slightly smaller. No major PMD. It intrigued me enough to create a profile and post
Rest in Peace

If there is any way to provide better photos, including what the edge looks like, and a comparison of the quarter in question on top of a "normal" quarter, it would help us give you a more definitive answer.
