Are you talking about the eagle's wing on the left? Can we see a picture of the obverse to see if the other side has damage?

to the forum. We've seen these before. It was probably heated. Definitely not a mint error.

I agree the clad coin was heated creating a bubble. Spendable, but probably won't work in a vending machine.
