I'm new this and show was found by a homeless man in the river. Is it real?

Double stamp wider then normal penny. Looks like a holy grail?

@jason, first welcome to CCF. Second, we need pics of the front and back of the coin to help you. When you say "double-wide", I'm envisioning a cent that was squished by a train.

Maybe a broadstruck cent, not unique. Could even be a double struck with the second strike off center, still not unique. Could be chocolate wrapped in foil but without pictures we may never know....

We can't do or say much, if anything until we get some pics.

We really need more information. We can't give answers based on a random statement with no real facts.
