a jeton from Brussels remenbering the plague of pestilence in 1668 . obv : Divus Michael in peste patronus , St Michael killing the man representing the plague rev : the arms of P.J.van Armstof , a ramshead with crown and a man with a hammer (?) above , at left and right a man with a standard . 23 mm , 4.4 gr , 12 h ref : G van orden ,nr 1306

The two are very similar, only mine has a horse on it rather than an eagle.  Although, I did not think the eagle type was made in 1666; I thought its last year was 1665. Even so, the last digit in your coin's date does look like a six. How interesting...

Yes hmm not sure--my coin is listed in Kopicki as #1554. Is your source Krause?

It did take me a while, but I found a reference for one of the eagle ones from 1666 ( here). I almost forgot about that site, which does say it is a Kopicki 1554 one. Good to know!
