1983 French 5 Francs. With a mintage of 84,400 according to Victor Gadoury, or 110,000 according to Krause, this is probably the lowest-mintage coin from a major country that I have ever actually found in circulation. In 1992 I was working as a guide, escorting tour buses on weekend trips to Paris. One of my duties was serving cold drinks, which were priced at 5 francs each. On one trip I got both this one and the scarce 1977 5F (mintage 485,000):

1982 Canada Silver Dollar Bison Skull Proof This coin was issued to commemorate the centennial of Regina, the capital city of the Saskatchewan province. A bison skull is depicted with the Saskatchewan Parliament Building pictured between the horns. Coin contains .3750 oz Silver and is 36mm in diameter

1982 20 pence piece. This year saw two major changes to British coinage: the 20p was introduced, and the word 'New' was removed from the reverses of the other coins.
